Se trata de una red de vigilancia radiol\u00f3gica de \u00e1mbito nacional que permite conocer los niveles de la radioactividad del aire, de las aguas y del suelo, de alimentos b\u00e1sicos como la leche, y de una dieta completa o dieta tipo. Adem\u00e1s, el LRA-UPV participa en el control de calidad del Plan de Vigilancia Radiol\u00f3gica Ambiental (P.V.R.A.) en el entorno de la Central Nuclear de Cofrentes gracias a un convenio con la Generalitat Valenciana.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"sek-heading\"><b id=\"VRENOR\">Vigilancia radiol\u00f3gica en emergencias nucleares o radiol\u00f3gicas<\/b><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2588\" src=\"https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/iStock-1175187352-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/iStock-1175187352-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/iStock-1175187352-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/iStock-1175187352-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/iStock-1175187352-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/iStock-1175187352-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>Dentro del \u00e1mbito de la Protecci\u00f3n Radiol\u00f3gica, es de especial inter\u00e9s disponer de protocolos de actuaci\u00f3n en emergencias tanto nucleares como radiactivas. En relaci\u00f3n a las instalaciones radiactivas, la Comunitat Valenciana dispone del <i>Plan Especial ante el Riesgo Radiol\u00f3gico (PERR) <\/i>(DECRETO 114\/2013) en el que el LRA-UPV act\u00faa como laboratorio de apoyo de la Agencia Valenciana de Seguridad y Respuesta a la Emergencias (AVSRE). De forma paralela, el LRA-UPV trabaja en el desarrollo de procedimientos r\u00e1pidos para la vigilancia radiol\u00f3gica en emergencias. Tambi\u00e9n colabora con la Universitat de Barcelona en el desarrollo de procedimientos en emergencias empleando centelleadores pl\u00e1sticos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"sek-heading\"><b id=\"RN\">Radiaci\u00f3n natural (NORM y Rad\u00f3n)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2465\" src=\"https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/NORM-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/>La legislaci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola exige llevar a cabo un control de la exposici\u00f3n a la radiaci\u00f3n natural. Por tanto, es necesario evaluar el impacto radiol\u00f3gico de las industrias NORM (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials) y lugares de trabajo subterr\u00e1neos o termales con presencia de Rad\u00f3n. El LRA-UPV lleva a cabo estudios de impacto radiol\u00f3gico a industrias NORM y lugares de trabajo con presencia de Rad\u00f3n siguiendo las gu\u00edas de seguridad del Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear (GS-11.03 y GS-11.04) y analiza radion\u00faclidos naturales en los materiales, muestras de agua o aire, que pueden producir exposiciones del p\u00fablico o de los trabajadores. Adem\u00e1s est\u00e1 trabajando en la mejora de los procedimientos de toma de muestra, an\u00e1lisis y medida de la radiactividad del polvo en suspensi\u00f3n presente en industrias como por ejemplo la cer\u00e1mica, refractarios, pigmentos, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"sek-heading\"><b id=\"R\">Radioecolog\u00eda<\/b><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2466\" src=\"https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Radioecologia-300x194.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"323\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Radioecologia-300x194.png 300w, https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Radioecologia-768x497.png 768w, https:\/\/lra.webs.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Radioecologia.png 821w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>La radioecolog\u00eda estudia la interacci\u00f3n de los radionucleidos en el medioambiente, sus mecanismos de migraci\u00f3n y absorci\u00f3n en las cadenas alimentarias y los ecosistemas. Una aplicaci\u00f3n es la dataci\u00f3n de sedimentos u otras muestras ambientales (aguas, vegetaci\u00f3n, etc.) con la medida de is\u00f3topos artificiales como el Cs-137, Pb-210 y Pu-239, cuyo origen es antropog\u00e9nico.
